Hello,I just recently aquired a 70 skylark and I want to put a 455 in it.I have a 70 block but nothing else.I would like to start with a complete motor and get the parts it needs.Otherwise I just need a good crank and rods. Thanks in advance.

    P.S.
I would be able to get it at Noble if anyone plans on going this year and save some shipping hassles.

    buickdav Kris' other half.

I know I have the rods if your looking for a stock type set to rebuild. I usually sell them in sets of 10-12 so your machinist can pick and choose from them. I also think I have a crank but will have to check for sure. I have kind of a ''standing order'' for them elswhere, but I bet I can get around that too :Brow: . Drop me an email, buickdav@yahoo.com , and we'll see if we can work something out.

    Later........................

Ok, call me dense but, what does "ttt" mean? I've been wondering for years. :Do No:

Hey thanks Steve. Now I know what ttt "stands for" but still no idea of the meaning. Does to the top mean scroll back to the original post? Believe me, I'm not being sarcastic, I just want to understand. PSmith posted ttt right underneath the original post; I can see both in the same screen :Do No: I feel silly, but I'm still confused :ball:

    Doug,

The reason for using it is that once a post has sat for a while, then it disappears pages back and could be overlooked. Or, it may have been a longer while and someone who didn't have the desired part may have it now. Then it's a way of moving the thread back to the top.

Since this board automatically puts a thread back to the top when there is new activity, putting "TTT" does the job.
