So who all is making the pilgrimage to the Buick GS mecca in May. I will be there provided that the weather is good and the car makes it. So who else???
Once again..... I'll be there!! 37 or 38 years straight.... I'm getting old, I can't remember if the first year for me was 1983 or 1984? I'll have to look back and find out for sure...……….
No idea where I am staying (suggestion other than an alley or ditch please) but Rosie & I plan on going, car or not. FIFTY year anniversary of our 1970 Buick’s is not one to miss!
with this perfect Florida weather today, we decided to start getting ready! as usual, we plan to be there in GS-R class
This is a quiet plea for help, is there a chance anyone has space in their car and will be driving near CT or Eastern NY on their way down to the Nats? I wouldn't want to inconvenience anyone, but I completely don't have the cash at 20 years old to make the pilgrimage. I have a sleeping bag and will use it. A bit of a long shot, but if you don't shoot, you'll never know if you would have missed or hit a bullseye.
John shoot me a PM with your contact info. Jenn and I can probably get you there and back. We were your age along time ago trying to get to the Nationals and a good friend got us there and back. If you have a tent bring it and stay in the Campground. Yes we will be there with the Supercat dragster. Not sure where we are staying yet, maybe the Campground now that it's back in May..... About 12 weeks left to get things done folks!
Haven't been able to make the trip since the 25th GS Nats so we're beyond excited to make it to the 40th and put a face to the names of Buick owners we've met here since!
I'm 50/50 at this point. I'm in a bit of a pickle trying to decide between that and the power tour. Both isn't out of the question, but a long shot. If I do go, I'm not sure if I'll drag the green car down or drive the white car. Decisions decisions....
