Nailhead timing chain cover coolant leak

    I've used two O-Rings in the worst cases & RTV. Hard to clamp down. Used a couple wood clamps.

    No, the leak is coming from the top left side of the timing cover, easily seen dribbling from the gasket surface whiln the engine is running...

    2d Walt. I'd pull the cover and figure out why it is leaking if it were my decision. If you are lucky and the aluminum is not failing a new gasket will fix perfectly. If corrosion is the cause it can be fixed with JB Weld if not too severe. I would NOT add any more stop leak as it is coating the insides of your radiator which has resulted in a loss of cooling already and a second dose will only make it worse. While you are in there it might be a good time to check & replace your timing gear set as well (although you only have 17k [or so] miles on the rebuild).
