    Yes Ken,

I know where you were in The Far East Bay.
    I miss N. California/ San Jose,
There wasd so much to do!
    And the weather!
We were not out there at the same time.
I left, do to a transfer in 2001.
I really think it was perfect timing.

    Knoxville's OK.
You say your brother is Oakridge?
I wonder where you are at today?
    Thanks,
    Scott

I was out in the Bay Area from '93 to '95 and then '97 to '02 - due to job transfers back and forth. There was no shortage of really fun things to do out there ... the weather. But, none of my family was out there ... and I swore to myself that when I had kids, they would be able to have access to/relationship with their Grand Parents ... as I did not and wanted to (my parents lived too far away growing up). I really do like the different parts of the country (I know there are places not too far from you now where that is spelled 'kountry') ... even though none of the other places seem as mild (weather) as Cali.
While I was out there, I had a commute all the way to Redwood City for about a year ... and then Pleasanton and finally in Concord. It was a great place to be fresh out of college, newly married and without kids. In a nutshell, life and responsibility have a way of making one eventually see things and prioritize la ot differently ... and while my then (stay at home) wife seemed to have a great time (weekly) in Napa (30 mins away) and ALL the endless other places to go, I decided to try to move closer to family (my older Brotherwas just starting his family) in TX in '95 and my Brother moved back to TX as well (our plan) so he could work on that Super Collider project in Waxahachie (TX). Congress built 75% of it and pulled the funding ... my Brother got transferred to Oak Ridge (TN) and I got moved back out to Cali. So much for that family plan. I have visited my Brother many times ... I bet we (you and I) have driven around each other many times ... at two different years ... at two different ends of the country ... errr 'kountry'.
Did you ever drive over to Pacifica and watch the fog roll in ... or the sunset? Point Reyes. Santa Cruz. Half Moon Bay. Tahoe. Mendocino Coast. I could go on for ever.

Do let me know if you are in the area....

I remember coming on V8BUICK and some one said send me a PM.
    I asked what is that?
I wrote WHEELZ back a message and asked him,
What the heck is a PM?
    Preventative Maintenance?
    He laughed...

76 in a 55. Would you think it was ok if you were 56 in a 35. Sorry dude but you said you drive the road all the time so 21 over is way out of line. Sounds like you need to take your medecine and chalk it up to a lesson learned.

Flame away boys. I can take it.

Altitude, is about the same as the Santa Cruz's.
    Tx has some staright roads.

Man, use run that sucker, full bore.

    Nothing like a stock car.

Just a flashback, that's all that is. LOL
Shouldn't tell you this but I had er' up over 100.

    KInda scared me... :Dou:
Well as for court, next week.

Court was today @ 13:00 EST and there is a Lord above!
    "Amen"
Put your hand on your LCD/ CRT screen!
    "Feel my vibes W/ me"

The short state-ty officer was there.....
He's less than 5 Feet tall...
I always thought they had requirements for these guys?
As I said, this guy looks funny with his big hat on.
His hat is bigger than he is tall !
    With all due respect......

There were some shady lookin' characters there.
Judge ordered me to pay $213.00 as it is my first offense.
He has granted me the opportunity to take safety traffic school on Tuesday April 28th 2009.
The class is ony two hours long.
    That's cool.
I have to go back to take it. (15 Miles)
As the class will be $20.00 and I get a certificate!
    Yahoo!
I'll be sure to add it to my curriculum vitae' and put it on my resume'
There will be no record on my drivers license.

    So there you have it,
    "Be careful out there folks"
Do watch where you blow your Carburators out.

I'd like to thank all, but mostly Hawken for his advice, and guidance....

    Scott
