My Ride

    Finally got my ride done just in time to move from El Paso to Dallas. Engine made 608 hp and 580 ft/lbs of torque and runs on pump gas. Can't wait till the tracks open up to see what she will do. Here's a few photos for the group.

    Those are Killduff Lightning rods.

    Hey Mike, Just curious... Why do you only have 2 bolts in the transmission cross member? Sure looks like you're going to be having fun!!!

    For over 20 years there has only been 2 bolts in the center of this cross-member...and directly bolted to the frame on the ends. I'm open to any advice or opinions why I should be running 4 instead of 2.

    I actually broke a cross-member once. End came off! lol. Not that you would have that happen but I'm reminded. Note: Bolts can break or shear. That and if you still have the stock mount setup it can cut down on vibration IMO.
