I like the Weld's with the cap the best. I am not a big stock wheel guy simply because everyone has them. I will be going with the same look on my 65 GS when it's done. Chrome steelies with the poverty caps.:bglasses:

 

those dog dishes look tougher than a 2 dollar steak, sweet

 

Where did you find those dog dish hubcaps? I have been looking everwhere and cant find those exact ones. Any ideas where to look?

Should be available, although I've seen quite a few people looking for them lately. I only have the one set left otherwise I'd sell you a set.

Just dragging this topic up again.....has anyone got pics of other incarnations of the dog dishes on alum rims?

And will these adaptors work on rims other than the Weld drag lites?

 

They fit on the Pro Stars but the hub cap doesn't quite cover up the holes in the wheel. You can see five distinct spots where the triangle shaped holes are protruding past the outside diameter of the hub cap. Draglites work best. That's what I built them for.

Hi Steve, I just stumbled on this post yesterday. Best looking wheels I've seen so far. I've been looking for wheels to replace my 14" rallys for several months now and definately wanted dog dish style in black until I saw these. If you are still making adapters I'll take a set. What year are the caps from. What size are your front rims and tires. Thanks Pete.
