Hi - I was hesitant to ask for help again, but then I remembered how much your prayers helped my sister-in-law. Her breast cancer could have been so much worse, but I like to think that you all helped with the out-come! She's almost half-way through chemo, by the way, but went into it looking good. My mom went in this past weekend, and had an emergency gall bladder operation, the old fashioned kind, where they cut you. She's 77 years old, and just not bouncing back like she usually does. Today we found out that she's in kidney failure, which is affecting her breathing and her heart. (along with other things, but that's the worst!) They're going to try 2 dialysis treatments, in the hopes of cleansing her and giving her lungs some room. Hopefully this will also give the kidneys a break. So the next 24-48 hours will tell us what she'll end up doing. Please include her in your prayers - her name is Mary Lou, and she needs some of everyone's positive outlook. Thanks so much for the help in the past. Take care, Shari
Shari, you can rest assured that we are praying for your Mom here. Keep your strength up. You need to take care of yourself, too.
Update Keep them coming! She got moved up to ICU last night. They gave her another dialysis treatment, but her breathing did not improve. I don't like the sound of that. Thanks so much to my Buick Family. You all mean so much to me and Loyd. Take care, Shari
It's become critical... Things are rough right not. Mom has had episodes of internal bleeding, and has had to have dialysis. Things kind of "bottomed-out" this morning, and we're not sure if they're on the up-swing or not. The next 24-36 hours should tell. Please keep her in your prayers..... Thanks, everyone. Shari
Shari- Sorry your mom is having such a rough go of it. I said a prayer for her and for you. I hope things improve!
Mom's at peace now. I just wanted to let you all know that Mom went to God about 5:45 pm today. My brother, sister-in-law and I were with her, holding her hands. I want to thank all of your for your prayers and good wishes. The support of my Buick Family is very important to me, and helped her, too. Thanks again, Shari
