My little SBF Mustang that can run with BBB's

This is the first New Car I ever bought a 1984 GT350 Dominator Mustang, 1 of 5.

I have been putting it to 100% Stock Appearing for the last 2 years and am down to the exhaust which BTW took a bit to find the correct dual tips, which go on early next week, but I wanted 1 last video to compare between the "I'm an angry SBF" and the tame " I'm a happy SBF" exhausts.

 

I'm not a member of the fb group so I can't view the video.

What was the stock HP rating, 350 I assume?

 

Oh heck no, a stock 84 GT made 185 hp back then, adding the Dominator option (Dealer installed)gave you about 225 hp. Today its a 347 ci. with about 406 HP.

 

nah Jason..The real fast ones have composite lights..

 

Lol......no sorry no videos of it, it's a 12.80 in street dress. Years ago it was on a 150 shot with 4:10's and drag radials and FAST.

Very nice car. I can't recall the last time I've seen one. Very well worth hanging on too.
I have a 'four eye' as well, but it's a Futura. Not real fast, mid 12s.

 

Here's the after, very tame sounding now sadly but it's 100% Stock Appearing just like when I brought it home back in 1984.........Been a long road.

 

12's is pretty fast for a Futura, really fast.

 

It's only a Fuel injected, 9 to 1 302 with a manual C4. , 8.8 with 3:73. Good suspension. It hooks. 150 shot of nitrous it's been 11:02.
