Bought this 70 350 gs car a couple years ago , would you believe someone brought it to a local salvage yard for scrap , luckily the guy that runs the scrap yard new a great Buick guy Herman gross , the car had a 1984 Michigan plate on it , had 81 82 North Carolina inspection sticker in the window , someone took it apart striped the 1/4 panels and it must set since 1984 , had a re chromed front bumper laying between the bucket seats wrapped up with August 1984 writing , think the car only saw 1 Michigan winter body shell was excellent , I’m down to motor and finish interior
It still boggles my mind that someone took this car in for scrap. He probably got a whole $200 for weight. That is amazing progress you did there in the last two years. Starting with a solid body really helped of course. I'm looking forward to seeing it at the Pure Stock Muscle Car Drags in Stanton, Michigan next fall!
THANKS !! The car was a great start ,I am still amazed that now a days someone took it in for scrap too ,bucket seat floor shift car , gauges ,rally wheel , posi rear end , most trim was in the trunk , and a re chromed front bumper laying between the seats ! numbers matching motor and trans , but doing 455 to stage one , hopefully finished by next spring
