My good friend died in a car accident yesterday

Normal equals however you personally handle it. Everyone handles grief differently. You are probably the type of person that tries to handle these things mentally, thinking about stuff, rather than crying. I tend to be the same way.

That said, I really am sorry for your loss. Life is not fair, but then again, I guess nobody promised it would be. Hopefully there will be blessings that come out of this unfortunate tragedy.

Thank you so much everyone. He was probally loving the fact that over 2000 people came to his viewing, and that litterally every standing place possible was taken up at his funeral. He loved attention. He was good at getting it too, in a good way.

 

Sorry for your loss.The same thing happened to me in 1975.My best friend was passenger in a datsun that got hit by a dumptruck a mile or two from school & was killed instantly.
I dont remember my emotions other than i didnt want to go to his funeral,and didnt.
I still think about him from time to time,35 years later,and wish i would have said goodbye
