My First Buick!

    I know it's not a 'classic', but it's mine! 1979 2 dr Buick LeSabre with a Pontiac 301. I know the easy and cheap thing to do would bea small block Chevy, but I think the cool and proper thing to do would be a 455 Buick. I've heard about people putting a 4 speed in the b-bodies and I think that'd be awesome, but a console out of a regal and floor shifter would be awesome too.

    Welcome, those were the GM generic engine years.
    Had a new 77 Buick wagon with an olds 350.
    Had to be real careful on getting various parts since
    you could get any of 3 engines depending on location I guess.
    Also had a 79 Pontiac Bonneville with a Buick 350! Reverse of yours!
    We also like to know where you are from and some pics are good too. :)

    Welcome, Do what ever you like to your new classic! Here in Minnesota all it needs is to be 20 years old to be a classic...
