The plastic that the cars sit in is an old Matchbox hobby shop display case piece. My wifes brother-in-law made the wood surround. The cover is just hardware store plexiglass. It worked out well. There are real nice wall hanging display cases available, but I didn't have the $$$$, so I did this. Glad you like it.

 

Looks great how do you keep them clean. I would have to put glass on the front . But I am lazy.

 

They are covered! Whole plexiglas sheet in front! I used my brothers good ( RE: $$$$$$$$) digital camera to take those pics. Came out nice and glare free.

Way nice . My friend has a collection of matchbox /hotwheel cars he saved from the 60,s( showing my age ) I am going to show him your set up real nice. I see no cover great photo.
