I hope the guy with the SL65 removes himself from the gene pool without taking anyone with him.

I quit the Flint street racing thing back in the '80's after seeing a fatal t-bucket crash. The only reason the guy didn't feel the pain of the block's weight and red hot headers on his back, neck and head was because he was already dead as the sizzling kept going and going.

I'll never forget the smell.

Kudos to you for backing off after the point was proven. His ego obviously couldn't handle the embarrassment of defeat.

Thats great..thanks, I was reading through the posts here and see that a john osborne is very good at rebuilding q jets, might consider getting one that i have rebuilt, do any of you guys here have contact info..also how much would a good rebuild run for this carb.

jim wiese at tri shield built the motor. i shift at 6200

 

Curious as to what size tire and rim combo your running?

I'm still in flux as to what I want to put under the vert that I'm restoring. I keep leaning to a 16 or 17" rim.
