I bought this car 10 years ago in Oklahoma where it was still a daily driver. It was a skylark that through the years had aquired some GS parts, such as the hood. It had a ratty, late 70s 350 in it but it ran good, was all there, wasn't rusty, and was dirt cheap. Even as I test drove it, the wheels were turning in my head to complete the cloning and outfit it with a 455. I spent 5 years tracking down GS parts I needed while driving the car regularly. Then we ripped it to the frame and did a nut and bolt restification. Because it wasn't a # car I took a lot of liberties with the motor. It has all the best parts from TA and Kenny Belle. Externally the only thing that is noticable is the intake and headers. The car has also been lowerd 2" with custom springs and has been fitted with all polygraphite bushings and heavy sway bars front and rear to make it handle. With a 2600 stall converter, shift kit, and 373 posi rear, the car is brutal. It's a regular torque fest. After building a motor with this much torque, it would be tough to own anything but a Buick.

Good looking car! :eek2: Might I suggest posting your name? You can do this easily by making it a part of your signature under "user CP" at the top of the board. That way everyone knows who they are talking to:TU: .

    Nice ride,

If you are in NY you should think about coming down to NJ to the BPG picnic in Holmdel on June 7th.:Brow:

Thanks, a lot of work went into it, but it's a blast to drive. Where in NJ is that?
