I really like it....always did! If I had the room and the means right now I'd be on it!! Good luck....someone will be getting a cool ride!
Good luck with the sale, I really like it. I'm curious on what you did to lower it, and tire and rim sizes?
I think it's all springs that were used to lower it. I didn't do the suspension work. Wheels are 15" steelies. I'll have to check on tire sizes.
245/60's and 275'60's 7in wide police Caprice wheels ,springs are stock 454 Chevelle springs, with 2in drop spindles, rear is Moog 5401's iirc
Probably part of my left index finger is still in the control arm, them tall heavy wire Chevelle springs were a PITA to get in there with the drop spindles But the car sits beautiful, got lots of compliments on its stance, just looks mean It is a bad ride now for sure, Adam put the time in it, that it deserved
Wow...that's your old car Ethan? I must have missed it being sold to Adam. Nice paint on it now. Good job Adam! It would be a nice cruiser. Good luck with the sale - Lon
I sold to Jay3000, and he sold to Adam, it's a creampuff , car is stupid solid. I put the 455 in , shift kit and drove it around for a couple months, Jay done the interior and Adam got her looking sexy,..so it was a collaborative effort I suppose ha. But the car has been in capable owners hands for quite a while, fella I bought it from was a member here and he bought it from the original owner, out of Atlanta area. He done a lot of work on it was a great caretaker. Iirc the car moved out here from out west late 70's. Can't go wrong on this car imo. Engine was extremely clean inside, bearings looked mint, I cleaned the pickup and pan and new oil pump. Trans had recently been gone thru I just put a trans go kit in it. Dang car runs way stronger than it should, I pissed my buddy of in his cammed G8 Pontiac, I was on his bumper and he couldn't pull on me
Thanks Ethan. That 3.55 posi really put some sh!t in its get, too! Rips the tires in second gear at WOT every time.
Where on the black market do I sell a kidney? I'd rather have one kidney and one 455 Skylark than two kidneys.
Ethan I was going to ask you if that was the same car I was interested in but I knew you sold it to Jay so I figured it wasn't the same car. That's when I landed in the hospital with the leg infection, wow it looks good.
