Did you pick out tires to go on those nice rims you got for the Buick?

Tire wise i went by the example of a 69 chevelle since no 68 GS pro touring builds are really arround..

Super cool. Are you going to start building the new 350 to handle the boost soon?

I'll stay with the stock 350 for now)(8-10psi) and will build the other block later when time and budget allows.
I want to get it running 1st, have the fuel system set up right, make the right decission on the Efi (fitech or sniper), get a IC setup plumbed most likly AND then go from there.

as you know sean i also have my lil 02 Mustang LS build here, wich should become my daily.

PS: i also have a buddy in germany who got a 67 lark he bought from the netherlands... WITH A OLDS 403 IN IT!!

He want me to build / assemble him a mild 455. For his 67.
That will take some of my time as well.
// block heads crank are located and freshly machined already..

So while waiting on my GS to come home from paint

I thought i get going on the wheels.
    I got some
    19x10 for the back
    And
    19x8,5 in the front
CCW Style that i test fitted and the especialy the rears work with a bs of 6 and cutted/rolled lips.

Then i got some 295/30/19 Bridgestone potenza tires for a good deal.
The tire question was actualy a headache since i have not seen any 68 GS with that kind of setup so i looked up a bunch of 68/69 chevelles or Olds 442s with PRO touring builds and there combos.

    The result looks promissing

I had those tires on my Corolla XRS and they had really good grip on the pavement. but once you wear them down the rain ability goes away some. I only got about 35000 out of them. I did buy them 2 times.

Bake them a couple of times and they will wear out, You'll be buying MT DR's after you burn them to the ground.lol

Didn't you go to a 3.42 Posi? Looks like you needed to upgrade from those T/As.

That's some serious digger gears. I would have gone with a 3.36 posi if I had kept it. You doing Boulevard racing with it?

Lets see.. 1st of all its gonna be a pro touring inspired resto mod.

I am in the process of twin turbo the 350' and go Efi tb system.
Its not gonna be a race car since ill have a full interior(out of a 04 gto). But it will have some serious power and since i go with a Imter cooler in the CA heat i have the option to realy crank it up if i go forged internals.
But for now its gonna be solid 550-600 hp

My old car has a 3.42 gear and a 200R4 and its crazy at 140 MPH on the highway and runs low 11s on low boost.

    Hi guys..
i was having a BUICK break since the car is in paint and should be finaly done this upcoming weekend...im really excited.. i gave the painter all the freedom since i want it to be done right.
normaly you would think that this is the time to safe some $ but ... well i got a side project a 2002 Mustang that i ll put a LS in, that should be a nice little budget project.
    i got a thread on LS1Tech

    SOOOO
after a long time it seems like i get something going for the BUICK.
i decided to go PRO TOURING and TWIN TURBO
i was forthunate to work with Mark Burton who got this updated version of his Manifolds for me + i asked him to fab me the 1st 10-12 inches of the downpipe.
i choose to go with CXracing T4 0 Turbos this are 60 Trim T4s they should spool fast and definitly create a lot of power
    BOOST HERE I COME
