What's going on with this magazine? I paid for a subcription to this magazine and a copy of the 1st issue. 35.00 total. Yesterday, I get a copy of Hot Rag with a Jan 04 expiration. This is what happened when they discontinued Musclecar Review. Don't tell me I'm getting hosed again! At least give me the choice of getting my money back or a replacement subscription. Anybody know what's going on?:af:
I hate to say it, but maybe it's about time we started to bombard Tom Shaw with a bunch of e-mail and phone calls. It seems there are enough of us on this board who have paid him (plus I'm sure we all have friends as well who paid) that perhaps we can get a point across. If he is indeed working to produce this mag, then he needs to a least keep us updated. Not saying anything just creates suspicion. I know someone on this board knows how to contact him. After what happened with MCR and HOT RAG, I have no intension of letting anyone just keep my money and not give me what I ordered. But we carry much more weight together then we do individually.
I paid $35 for a subscription to Musclecar Power Mag, not Hot Rod. I want what I paid for, or I want my money back, no if's, and's, or butts!:moonu:
All people who had subscriptions to MCR received Hot Rod subscriptions when MCR was bought and killed. My Hot Rod copies show an expiration of July '04, and I think it always did, even before I sent in payment for MCP. As far as a ship date is concerned, they said in Nov. that it would ship first week of Dec. And before that, sometime in Oct., and before that it was May or something.........I'll believe it when it is in my mailbox.
I just received this copy of Hot Rag unsolicited. Label says exp. 2/04. Maybe I'm jumping the gun, I just remember getting the balance of my subscription for MCR in Hot Rags. I don't want to see that again!:stmad: Hopefully it will be this month. Thanks for the replies.:TU:
