Motor Out/rearend Out

.........Looking like Project 86 might be ready for August.........cross your fingers. p

 

Cool. Call me sometime and gimme the whole story. My rear is out right now too. Had 3.90s put in. I'm fighting with the eurathane bushings currently. Hope to make the flashlight drags the 14th.

 

So..........what happened to that 8.5?? I've got one Regal left that could use a rearend......... :Brow:

The 8.5 was in a dissasembled 84 Hurst Olds. The whole car was $2500.

 

So...you really had 3.73's in there??? I thought the rear came from a GN or T-type. Here I thought you only had 3.42's.

We are talkin' about a rear other than mine. Mine was a 3.42, now a 3.90

 

Ohh!! I thought the 442's came with 3.73's and only the GN's and T-types came with the 3.42's.

 

The cam berrings are IN the block Dave. It wont be long now! :blast:

 

Glad that battle been fought and over.......has the cam appeared yet?

OH yeah PROJECT 86..........still waiting on the rearend. Motor is finished, and tranny is ready! I need an ignintion system, torque converter, and a radiator. I just disconnected all of the emisions wiring today. :3gears:
