I am in the process of changing motor mounts on my 1972 Buick GS Stage 1 4-speed replica. I ordered 455 engine mounts from The Parts Place. They were back-ordered and I had to wait two weeks for them to ship. Then they were stuck in customs for a week and yesterday when I went to swap them out, I discovered that they don't fit. The pics below show comparisons of the mounts that came off of the car and the new ones they they sent me. My gut tells me they are 350 mounts. What do you think? Anyone have experience dealing with The Parts Place when returning items? Dealing with them during the back-order process didn't leave a very good taste. What should I expect from them? Should I return them and then deal with Todd at DC Musclecars from this site?
Those look like v6 and 350 motor mounts.They should exchange them at no cost to you,since its they'r mistake. Bruno.
