if anyone doesn't know what motor city on-line(MOC) is, its a street racing game you play on your computer on-line and race other people for money slips to your car(s), its pretty much like almost real life, i think you can even pull into a dinner and get something to eat and bullshit with other racers, anyways what i was getting to is does anyone ever play this game, cause i did some research and there is a buick gsx in the game!!!! how cool is that????let me know if ya know anything about this game

I played a couple months ago, and actually met a few people who are here on the board. It is alright, but there is not a GSX in the game. There was supposed to be, and there is even a picture of one on the box but they never got around to adding it. I collected a lot of cars in the game and spent to much time on there. I quickly realized it wasn't worth the $10 a month, especially with no GS or GSX. The game is pretty cool, but from what I have seen it has died down a lot as far as activity goes. Cool game, but like any computer game it gets old after a while.

I became addicted to MCO last year and began to hate it because it was so damn frustrating. And my free subscription ran out. I don't think I can pay for something like that.

I still play on occasion, but in general, the car physics stink, the players are dummies (I'm being kind) and my biggest gripe besides no Buick other than the '55 Century is: the cars have NO basis in reality other than they look (sometimes superficially) like the car they represent, for instance, a run of the mill '65 Mustang is a great performance car, because the developers decided it should be great. The guys who made the game know absolutely zip about cars. They had a Camaro with wing windows listed as a '67. Now any old car guy can tell you that's wrong...too bad they never asked any to look at their work.

    Reno: Hiya GS455!

a little nostalgia for you, Chris!

LOL, I remember those days Chris. I was on there way too much, but I was surprised how many Buick people I found on there. Just on the one server I frequented (Crossroads) I met 4-5 people including you who had buicks they drove. Another was SnakeOil, I don't know if you remember him or not. He had a '69 skylark if I remember correctly. It was fun while it lasted, but I don't know about $10 a month fun.

got boring after a month, let the trial run out. physics were crappy..your car doesn't handle, but you can't slide/drift, either. and when i last played parts were rediculously expensive, meaning you had to win man races for one little part. the graphics were pretty laughable for a newer game, too.

..don't get me wrong, it was somewhat fun, but too flawed to hold interest. i'll stick to my console racers like rallisport or even sega gt.
