Thanks everyone. Mom has been having better days. She has now decided on her own to let her friends and other family members know about her condition. Both Mom and I am having a hard time with this as it seems she is doing good but we both know she has a LOT of cancer in her body. Cancer is in her Lungs, adrenal gland, bones, and even in her brain. but when someone is not acting sick its hard to imagine them not being hear in a few months. I am thankful for the days I have still with her and I hope for many MANY more but as I said its not looking good for time.

Thank you all for your continued support and prayers for my mother. :TU:

I feel like I have no words, Ryan, but I'll try.

All I can say is to try to do what I've done, make the most of the time whether you have a few days or many years!

    I'm thinking you already are.

    Ryan,

You and your family are in my prayers. Take each day as it presents itself and make the most of that day. I'm sure your strength gives your mom strength in return.

Just a update.... Mom had her first chemo monday the 14th and it did not go well she has gone down hill since.. as I write this I am in the hospital with her now and plan to spend the night. My mother is tired and hurts and it breaks my heart knowing there is nothing I can do for her....

On a happy note I found out my mom has been telling all my family all about my love for these old buicks and how I am excited about the Stage 1 that I acquired and my hope to one day restore it to just a driver condition. Never really knew she paid any attention to my rambling about these old buicks. we talked about cars and her old MGTD that she loved to cruise in when she was young..The old vw westfalia camper van that her and I took so many trips in. we even camped at a police station one night as we broke down in a little town and the local police let us camp in there parking lot that night. Really kinda cool to talk cars with my mom. :TU: Sad days but good memories to talk about and share with my little girl as she grows up about her grandma. My mother is my hero... She flew her first solo in a plane in her late 60s and if thats not impressive....she is handicap....She drove a RX7 (yellowbird) and a 280zx all though her 60s and her early 70s. if I live to do half of what she has done in her life I will be amazed. My mom allways says "If others can do it so can you." she never lets anyone tell her she cant do something. to her thats a challenge just to prove she can and will do it.

Thank you everyone for your support and prayers. :TU:

Thank you to all for your prayers :TU: it has been a tough road and sadly my mother is now at Beacon Place (Hospice) Her Doctor has said she only has days left. My mother has been so very strong. Much stronger than I could ever hope to be. Her humor and her kind ways have touched many around her. Many of her friends have called and come by the hospital to see her. Lots of good memories to talk about and a great amount of love and support from so many people everywhere. I have talked many a ear off about Buicks as of late to keep my mind off things. it has helped. I have been on my computer when she sleeps and when she is awake we talk and its been a great time to share with my mom. Please pray that my mother no longer suffers and let this wonderful angle fly free and at peace.

To the many of you I have talked to as of late thank you so very much for your special support you can never know how much it has meant to me.

To many here going though this or that have gone though this God bless you all. This is hell.

All our best to you & family, Ryan. Time with friends and family helps...it's the only way I endured what you are enduring now.

Ryan as Devon and others have said, your friends and family are here for you. Many have gone through this or will go through this in the years to come. For now we are here for you.
It has just been 4 years since I lost my Mom and every day I am reminded of her (thankfully).
May the time you had with her recently help to prolong the strength of your memories.
Remember we are here if needed.
