The parts source thread here is pretty old. Any other recommendations for parts? I am looking for 364 4 bbl intake and drivers side exhaust manifold from a dual exhaust car. I did post in parts wanted, and have talked to Centerville Auto in CA and Obsolete Buick Parts in TX Whether another business or just a guy you know, I’m all ears.
As I understand, the 4 bbl was only available in 57-58 Century or Roadmaster. Would the exhaust manifold be the same as a 59-60 401? Same exhaust gasket (same port layout) between 364 and 401 just a little taller deck height on 401. But I wouldnt expect enough for engineering two different pieces.
Hi, 364 4bbl is only available used as no aftermarket to my knowledge was ever made, they do make a tripower both show up on Evil-bay, so do the exhaust manifolds you're after just expensive 300-400 bucks from what I have seen, though I betting they are the same ones relisted. The intake you may want to try Russ Martin, just google him he has things on ebay as well. Regards,
Intake manifold is 364 only, so I doubt if there were all that many aftermarket intake manifolds made. I would keep an eye on Ebay to see if one crops up. As to the exhaust manifold - any 364, 401, 425 exhaust manifold will fit the engine, but maybe not the car.
They were ALSO available on the '61 LeSabre Custom I believe. ANY 364/401/425 exhaust manifold will fit. UNFORTUNATELY we are rather short changed, as in MANY of these threads, IT'S ALWAYS good to know year, make & model. Tom T.
I have a 4 barrel intake and carb from a 1957 364 as well as many heads , a short block and possibly a exhaust manifold as well as many other 1957 Buick 4 door htp parts . I am looking for rear bumper corners that aren't rusted out for my 1957.
get on facebook and join Russ' kids group The Almighty Buick Nailhead ....there always nail head stuff there..ALWAYS, and lots early stuff..they did make aftermarket intakes for 364s but mostly multiple carbs..but i see 322 and 364 stuff on there every day, that page has a huge following i know..everybody hates facebook..it took me 10 years to join..and its unbelievable on the amount of info and parts on there...ya just ignore all the "know-it-alls" and rude people and just get out of it what you want or need...and only use Paypal..nothing else..and i mean nothing else...always pay the fee..dont ever send it family and friends..listen to me..dont ever do that... i have bought so much rare stuff on there..the truth is..it has killed forums and ebay for parts..i have stuff coming in every week..at good prices too..90% of the people there are good, and real Nailhead enthusiasts.. heres a link https://www.facebook.com/groups/6864028574/
