Scott, I had the opportunity to ride in Mark's car and it is a beast! He did have it for sale quite a while ago....
I’ve been busy and just getting back here to the board....Thanks boys, the horse is just starting to Gallup...stay tuned... And thanks Mart, that was a good time but the ride you went on was a Girl Scout cookie compared to what is going on now.... Hope to see you again man and your build is looking nasty! Well done!
Hi Scott.pm me for details and maybe we could work a deal to build you a car like The Street Sleeper. It’s a good blue print and I know what it costs...
Over the summer I pulled the trigger on new seat covers for the rear and front. This completes the interior and it is quite handsome and comfy. Thanks John for supplying me with the emblems for the front seats.
I also decided to pull the power steering setup out for weight savings and a tiny bit of hp. Red Head Steering rebuilt a manual box I had. This allowed for the re-route the fuel system. A lot cleaner for sure. I also decided to run a dedicated fuel supply for the Nitrous set up. One gallon tank, electric pump, regulator, and RobMc filters I also fabricated a torque strap, and redid my switch panel radio delete.
Yes, I have 15x8” rims with a 5” backspace and 295/50 tires and they fit great in the wheel wells without any trimming. I also have air shocks so I can give it a little rake.
Haha Steve...the spares ride on the support trailer Ipull driving to the track, I have a hitch or her... Battery has always been in the trunk like that but the remote disconnect was under the bumper and I didn’t like it so close to fuel tank so I installed the remote lever and rewired it...
Car looks Great!!!! How is that M23? What kinda gears? I know muncies are dead geared. Had a ST10 in my velle. 288 first w 410 made for fun and carnage, lol.
Thanks. I love the M23 and can’t wait to hit the track in 2019. All the details are In the first post of this thread, but Rear is a Quick Performance 9” 3.7, trans is geared 2.99-1.88-1.35-1:1. I’m expecting 1.4. +/- sixty foot times and taste mid 11’s with this combo, as the prior Rock crusher being 2.20 geared only bested me 1.80 sixty, 12.12, 117 mph. It took forever to get out of fist gear after launching....no longer the case with the 2.99 first gear.
