So what is my next step. N-25 bumper. And terrified to leave car at meinekke Exhaust shop. Anyone have ideas? or exhaust pieces to finish this at home. Or i’ll take to work and put on lift.
Steve, it's unbelievably difficult to do, almost impossible. I'll do ya a favor, and take them ugly orange pipes off your hands. Joking, of course. You're gonna love the sound guy. Go for it....Jim
So to start We’re do i find a collector? Who sells them Jegs Summit. And could i install dumps? Seems like their is no room With those long scavengers. To add dumps.
Dont do an x pipe it kills the sound of the MT's,..just a simple 3.5 to 2.5 collector is all you need then it will just be a matter of trimming your current headpipes
No I wish. Silver powder coating underneath though. Probably gonna get ugly down the road. I hit with VHT 1800
After on . I will warm up. shut of cool Then get them Hot but not too hot About six times after they get cold. Then a run them down the street
I got 5-6 stencils made from my sign guy up the street. Gonna paint 5 different colors From the hush thrush & Bird head.
In a couple months i’ll get these Printed off. They are perfect scale. And let you guys know if interested.
I took one to a local exhaust shop here....Tony's. Wouldn't try a national chain store. Anyway, this guy has been around a long time and knows what he's doing. I had him shorten my head pipes, weld on the collectors, and alter my tailpipes to exit thru the N-25 bumper. Charged me $225.00. He didn't even use the exhaust hanger at the bumper. The tip was perfectly centered in the holes and doesn't rattle or even move. This was probably 4 years ago... Philip T.
