These could be a deal for someone. They should have the gaskets, bolts & reducers since they are new. Maybe he lost them or maybe something he has and may throw in with the deal. Wouldn't hurt to ask if you won the auction.
This person is an assh0l3! I was the winning bid in this auction and because he wasn't getting the foot traffic he wanted he ends the auction? Staying away this time and will be complaining to ebay. What a scumbag.
Agree with you bud. If they were mint that is one thing but the price you offered was more than fair cause of the surface rust.
Agree that he should have let the auction run it's course but, it's only at $542 now so, why not rebid? For what it's worth he does have 715 transactions with 100% positive feedback. How bad can he be? Don't let a rare item you really want get away. Just a thought.
The eBay seller is also a member of his board, user ID is BuickAl but he has not logged in since December.
He did respond to my message on Ebay stating that he ended the auction because of misspelling in the description. IDK - maybe it was an honest mistake, but IMO he should have contacted me through Ebay to explain the situation, it's not like there were 300 bids on the item. Just seemed fishy when it occurred.
715 transactions,he should know that there are plenty of bidders that wait until the final seconds of the auction to bid. It’s all part of the game. If you put something on there,for the whole world to see,and it doesn’t get or bring what you hoped,it should tell you something.
