Meziere water pump silicone

    I have an Meziere electric pump that was recently rebuilt by Meziere for $175.00.
    its a 1998 first gen pump, it need a big bead of silicone on the pump body.
    anyone have input on this? how big a bead? whats the issue?

    Hi

    I did mine a few weeks ago. It said a bead of at least 0.040" so I gave it a good amount
