Well who knows if anyone checks this thing anymore since the dreaded Facebook.. Well whos going ? Bringing what?? and whos ass is getting kicked?
Not sure looks like rain, and where do you sleep and what do you eat, of course i could go modern and bring the 14K mile grand national, but it would have to go back in the trailer with the rusted tire red lines that need to go on the '68 GS 400 Convt. Don't get old, mama said, LOL!
I hope your joking RoBerta... we always stay in plainwell.. we eat food,, and we hang out with friends :0
need to finish bleeding brakes on my "show pony" then the usual fresh plugs, some fuel and adjust tire pressure. Ran out of time for other tweaks. I have a "celebrity shoe" coming up from OKC to join me. Tim, you met him years ago at a Supercar Reunion race at Route 66. I'm also working on something else, but not sure I'll have it in time.
Not going myself, as it's a conflict with another event I'm attending on the east coast. Not a big surprise as I typically don't get to do Martin. Usually bogged down at this time of year with work. This year is no exception, but I said that heck with it and booked a flight to keep it targeted and simple. I joined Facebook a few months back, and nixed my account about a month ago. FB has its advantages, but at this point it's not for me. Happier now, having withdrawn from it. Have fun guys. Good luck with your rides and the weather. May the sun god smile on you, and rip a long fart of cool high pressure air ! Rich C.
I'm almost ready. Prep and load up today. I remember having a close shootout with Rhonda last time we were there. Hey Rhonda........
Hoping to show up one day to watch and catch up with old friends. We will see what the work schedule looks like. Kills me to not be racing.
I agree with Roberta!! Yes its very hot out there. Almost loaded but I really need to go in the house and cool off.
All set, but not sure why truck does not say trailer attached, need to blow out the trailer plug probably! But the lights work???
Here's a copy of the pairings and Qualifying ETS's off of FB - wish I was there but I'm still dialing things in. Some great runs there, how is the air?
I want to thank Terry, Dave and all those who put on a great race this weekend. The track had excellent prep and traction was exceptional. Unfortunately I had to miss Saturday's action once again. Last year I couldn't race any days with the FAST and PS family. This year like two years ago I get Martin's qualifying day only. It was worth it. I now have a grand total of four days in three years on the Vette. It is coming along and eventually it will be fully sorted out. It was great seeing everyone again, even if the vette kept us busy and a bit less social. Thanks again for keeping us all together and racing.
