What kind of database could be generated for tracking what things sell for on this site?

It out of a 1970 Riviera, I think it fits all Big Buicks(BB) 68-70.

Is yours for sale? I would love to put one of those AM/FM radios in my 70 convertible.

    These won't fit A-Body applications.

I've sold a few 68-70 big-car radios that I had lying around, both here and on e-Bay.

A fair price is probably $25 to $35, maybe you can get $50 if someone is real needy on e-Bay at the time you are selling. These radios definitely won't fit a skylark or GS.

You could always sucker someone on e-Bay by advertising it for a GS and saying "buyer must check application before using". I've seen it done dozens of times, the price goes more towards $100, and somebody gets screwed. But that would be a real d**k maneuver.

Check the model numbers on the radios at

I'm thinking that the second radio may be for a late 68, but is more likely a 69. I think the 68's tended to have a black "delco" faceplate on the multiplexer.

What is it about the A Body Radio that would make it more valuable? The Mass Appeal factor of the Skylark or quantity produced? I think you're right the second radio I have pictured is from a '69. So if an AM/FM radio from a big Buick has such little value, how much would a comparable AM Radio be worth?

    Thanks for the input.

Looks like you nailed that one on the head, sold the radio for $40. I'd really really like to see more open discussions on the Market Value question.
