A lot of you knew this already but I have just dealt with Mark for the first time these last few months. Like most on here, he went out of his way to engage and educate me and the parts he has sent are perfect. Thank you Mark, it's been a pleasure and I've no doubt that you will hear from me again sir.
I spent a lot of time on the phone with him before purchasing an alternator off of ebay. He was very helpful and educated me. I recently purchased the 1108392 starter he has for sale on here. I have called him numerous times for advice and he has always been helpful. He was also willing to mail me the BD stamp for the alt as long as I sent it back. It didn't come to that but just the fact that he was willing speaks volumes to his character.
I would like to thank all of you fellows. It is a hobby I enjoy doing. I'm happy to help where and when I can. I got a call from a Bently dealer to do an old Rolls Royce alternator two days ago. He said he found one on his shelf that I did about 7 years ago and wants this one for stock to replace it. Also there was a package from California on my porch and the wife asked if I was expecting something. When I told her no, she said open it outside. It might be a bomb. I asked her who's name was on it, she said yours. I said it is safe then. If it had your name on it I might be a bit worried. It turned out to be an alternator for an old Porsche or VW vanagon. Not sure what app it will be used for, both had the same alt.Mike I will put the starter brace and bolt in the mail today.
