    Getting ready to order bearings.
I've heard good things about King bearings, they're Bi metal.
Are they of better construction than Sealed Power Tri metal?
Am I concerned over nothing in my situation and just use SP Tri metal, which I've been using with no issues?

Only two choices remain for the 350, the Clevite 77 rod and main bearings are discontinued..

You can get a 4418M set from Sealed Power.. assuming they are still around, the catalogs still show them, but I have not purchased that particular set, because those tend to be harder bearings, and I stay away from those. Rock auto shows the .010 set as "out of stock" which usually means they are not available from the manufacturer. These also tend to run small (giving bigger clearances) so if you chose these make sure you torque them up in the housings and get a size, before the crank is turned. These are the conventional Tri-Metal bearing. Check TA they may have them on the shelf..

I prefer the 1457 series from King.. You actually have to look it up for a Jeep application.. More forgiving on our cast cranks than the harder bearings, and they size more like the Clevite 77's used to.
