I've determined that both these pairs of gaskets could use some replacing. Maybe it was the headache from the 50 miles I put on yesterday? Perhaps....but it was FUN!!

Which (of each) is the most popular/reliable brand going these days? It's been a looooonnnng time since I've had to buy either.

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, they are better than the copper and aluminum gaskets

Get them from Amazon. Cheapest price I found and I just got some for the Stage 2 headers

    I've actually heard about them.

How about for the collectors? I recall the M/T's had 4 bolts and have no idea where to even start looking.

If you have 4bolt MT's ,..first congratulations, second if that's the case they will make you a set its $100 tho but you get like 10pair, or they sell sheets and you make your own, I sent them a pair of Stage2 gaskets and now they are part of the line up

I was just venturing a guess based on what I've read but since they're the repros, they're probably only 3 bolts.

    Pat,

Are the collector gaskets on Amazon as well? I saw the header gaskets a little while ago. Thanks!

While I have everyone's attention, it's been forever since I changed an intake gasket.

    What's recommended?

Stock bathtub type gasket. RTV around coolant openings at each corner of the intake, both sides. Spray copper coat both sides of gasket. Torque bolts to 55 ft. lbs. for iron intake, 45 ft. lbs. for B4B. RTV at each corner of end seals where they tuck under the heads.
