I'm looking at these for the front end of my iron headed, 462 powered , 70 Skylark. Car will have a full interior and has steel fenders , hood. Weight limit per tire is 990lbs . Am I going to be pushing it or will it be enough tire for the car. I know they are skinny, not concerned with that, I'm concerned about the weight/load I'll be putting on top of em. Thoughts?

One of the reviews posted talks of them working well on a BB Chevelle, so I am assuming they would be fine, just with the obvious cornering issues skinnies present.
    Thanks, Jim/Rott

Will these be for the track only or do you intend to drive on the street?

I'll baby it on the street with these mounted on 3.5" Centerlines, but mostly for the track. Jim/Rott

They be fine, I've ran regular 165 radials for many many miles, but they require special attention while driving for instance brake performance suffers
