Hello everyone I'm not sure if I'm slow or just doing something completely wrong. I just removed the lower control arms on my electra to have new ball joints and bushings installed. I've also installed upper ball joints, sway bar links and inner and outer tie rods. The delimma that I'm having is to get everything lined up again to go back together. According to my shop manual I have the upper ball joint attached to the knuckle and the lower ball joint/control arm attached to the knuckle aswell. Now with or without the coil spring being compressed with a compressor I can't get the back end of the control arm to line up to put the bolts through without the jack shifting. If i put the bushing end in first then i cant get the spring to even sit in the control arm. The lower control arms also now have a 3" lift cup installed in each for a minimal lift. I'm not sure if my approach is all wrong, but if anyone can provide me with some insight it would be greatly appreciated.
