My stepdad passed away after his lung transplant failed due to chronic rejection. He was just 72. He taught me most of what I know about cars when he used to race dirt track late models in the 1980s. Please pray for peace for the my family during this time.

My sincere condolences. Stepparent is never an easy job. Your StepFather obviously was a great guy. And, I can say honestly that he really appreciated Your acceptance and he certainly loved You as You did Him.
It sounds like he did a pretty good job of being a Dad. It is never easy losing someone you are close to, I am sorry for your loss.
