Truer words were never spoken! I Ave a hard time thinking of a single it on my car that was described to me as a "direct replacement" or "made to fit" that I didn't have to modify or massage in one way or another to make work. And don't feel too bad Brett, there are some of us out in Buick land that actually quite like our holleys!
Hey Brett , looking good my man. Keep an eye out for a Burgundy 1966 GTO down your way . My cousins just bought it for their Dad for Fathers Day. His Wife passed away from cancer a couple years ago. He had the same car in high school when they were first dating. Video brought tears to my eyes when they gave it to him. They live in Kingston but their sharpening company is in Raynham where the old Greenlee or Greenleaf Auto Parts store was behind Chilis
The 2017 East Coast Summer Tour of Lord Vader continued Wednesday and Thursday at a couple local cruise nights. I took it to work Wednesday. Last night's cruise was at the former greyhound track near my parent's house. I'm pretty sure I made this kid's night.
Thanks! The kid was stoked and his father - who's mother owned a Buick years ago - snapped a few memories.
As well as the Vets that came via the bus in the background. Haha! I go to shows and cruise nights and people are finicky about others going near their cars. I get that but this piece of Buick history needs to be appreciated by all who are fanatics. Open the door, waft in that old car smell....sit in the seat and grab the gazillion dollar steering wheel. I sat in it to drive it there, so why can't someone else enjoy it for a moment? Lord Vader is the proverbial Queen (or King) of the prom and if there's one thing I've found out since buying this car, it's that everyone loves an old musclecar.
