Brass fittings were bent into ovals. What's the best way to tighten new inserts into the transmission? Then the lines into the inserts?

The book calls for 30 ft/lbs for those fittings.

So, everything works. But when I put my car in park after driving it, a big cloud of white-colored smoke comes out that smells of clutch or breaks. Asked around at my school and some people say it could be a vent?

Here is a couple pics of my kit from Jim Weise exiting the frame and into the tranny cooler. I bypased the radiator cooler as its not needed in this aplication. -4an fittings and aeroquip socketless hose

Call JW at Trishield and get his in frame flexible trans line kit for $149. The kit provides a very clean look that will not leak. 763-422-8685

Somewhere. I believe it to be from the output shaft seal. My buddy told me that before we put the transmission in the vent was pinched shut. So now I will go open it. Thanks for the ads guys. I got my lines already.
