Looking to improve my 1964 Special

    :puzzled: I'm trying not replace the original V6 Motor..But is so hard to find parts..I'm currently looking for a manifold for my ride..ALready getting tired...I think I'm GOING FOR THE SWITCH :blast: ONLY If I could get a V8 that started around that same year of my ride...If someone know were I could get one give me a buzz...@ savier64@hotmail.com Thanks for your time...Savier

    The 350 Buick V-8 is a virtual bolt-in. You should get the turbo 350 trans with the engine. A radiator upgrade will probably be in order too.

    What buick?

    The Regal, Skylark, GS, I don't know were to start:puzzled: could you help me out here? & From what year I should be looking for & what car....I'll be going to yards this weekend..Need some help :Do No: THanks SAVIER

    Any 350 Buick from any car will work fine. the best ones are from 68-70 with the Q-jet carb. All 350 Buicks are virtually the same, so finding a performance model is pretty much limited to one that has a 4-barrel carb. If you get one out of a big car, you may have to find a short-shaft trans from another. Look at the tailshaft and make sure before buying.
