Looking NOS 1970-72 Washer Fluid Jar

    PS - the repros aren't that good

    70 is different from 71-72.

    In case you don't find a NOS and you need one,I have a couple good used ones.BY the way,they screw on on the left fender well.Bruno.

    In other words 71-2 use metal mounting brackets. The lid on a 71-2 is also different than a 70.

    1970 cars sold for California use the 71-72 style jar.

    You need to tell us what style you have before anyone can help you.

    68 used the same style as 70 , screwed to the inner fender , not sure about 69.

    I'll look. I tried bleach. Tried plastic headlight cleaner. Saw something about peroxide but haven't tried that. Goes going to read more about it soon. I bought my washer bottle new back in 1988 or so. Surprised at how it just yellowed from age. Always kept the engine compartment clean. The repro bottles have a different plastic, bit of a textured look. And the seams aren't sharp

    I use a product called " SPRAYNINE " , cleans the dirt really great , but not the yellowing.
    The ebay jar will clean up great
