The trunk and hood "I"'s are different for the 67.
It's only a subtle difference, but a noticable difference none-the-less.
    Just an FYI

Let me see if I can get a pic of each later tonight so you can see the difference (and maybe figure out which one Bill has.

Thank you guys both for your help. Yes...Rick is correct. The front and back are 2 different "I"s The one for the back is straighter and not slighty curved like the one on the front. They even have different part numbers.

    front 1361204
    back 4229787

Actually, I think Bills is a hood letter.
Here's a picture of both my letters.
I've never removed the one on the trunk. If it's the wrong one, someone swapped them before I got the car in 1990. (Which is entirely possible)
    :Do No:

Edit.. after looking at Bill's pic again.... I can't really tell for sure which one it is because of the camera angle  . LOL

    Rick:
You are right again and get this........the letters for the station wagon even had different part numbers. The "I" on the trunk was the hardest piece to get off due to the trunk latch. Would you know of any places that might have after market parts? I'm thinking on trying CARS first.

    Thanks

    "I" letter

The hood is a two hole mount, the trunk is a slot mount, and the latest photo is correct for the trunk vs the hood. I.E. Trunk letter is straight. I just put my letters back on my '67 (front and back). Couch

Is your letters slot mount or pins? My letter is NOS and is similar to the trunk
letter pictured. Aftermarket letters for these cars........in our wildest DREAMS. Peace WildBill

The trunk "I" is a slot mount.
