I have been leaning towards a new repo dash tach & gauge cluster for my 1970 GS 455. My car is early 70 (actually built in Fall of 69) and has the pointed lens idiot lights and clock now. I want to replace them with the gauge cluster and a tach. I know I can get repo that looks nice and works but I am hoping I can find "Correct" "Tall Letter" gauge cluster and tach at a reasonable price. Please let me know what you have, date on back of them, condition etc. Thank You! Mark
Mark. FWIW, Gauge Clusters are all the same 70-72. Tall letter instruments that separated 70s from 71 & 72 were the speedo and tachometer. I have a nice Gauge Pack with factory short conversion harness. I also have ONE LAST tall letter 1970 FACTORY POINTED LENSE IN-DASH TACHOMETER. Original. NOT repro. I just did this same thing,as I need to piece some of my car back together,It's an early build as well,plus I had to find a correct 4-spd speedometer.
