Hi Guys, People over here start to realize what Buick is, so if you have or know of a nice car for sale then let me know. All Buicks have interest as long as the price dont exceed 15K. If you have a car to more than that, then let me know and I will look into it and see if there should be interest in it. Send me a PM and I will send my email. Thanks.
OK Jan, you can stop doing this any time now. Some day I'll be back in the market for another Buick and don't want to get outbid by one of your European conies. p :bla:
Tom, don't worry, I would let you take whatever you wanted. I was kind of surprised you did not go for the red 65 convert I bought from Jim? Take care up there in the cold area.
I was considering Jim's car as well. Just didn't have the :dollar: :dollar: available to make it happen. That and the exchange rate isn't great these days. I've been thinking of selling the GT in spring and buying a nice driver Buick convert with an auto trans. Been having some issues with my clutch foot lately. We shall see. :TU: Edit: All kidding aside Jan, no way I would deny one of your friends over there the opportunity to experience Buick power by the seat of their pants should the right car be available before I'm ready. :beer
If you're looking for a big Buick convertible I have 2, I can only put my a$$ in one at a time; next time you're in the Edmonton area look me up...
Oh well, it was worth a shot...I guess I'll have to play "Eeny, meeny, miney mo" again next year!:beers2:
Jan, so you did get Jim's 65. I was interested too as you know, but mainly because I couldn't find something I really liked. But as happens many times a better one comes along. Found this 72 silver convertible on ebay with my favorite color comb. And it is not for sale.:TU:
Roger, Yes I bought the car. Looks like a sweet car you got there, there is a reason for everything. Let me know if it comes for sale
Yeah but you could then start the process over with a real 70 stage 1 and maybe even a 4 spd set up with it:3gears:
Every now and again I toy with the idea; - it would have to be the right price, which will probably be too high for most of your customers. Now that I got it working right it's actually fun to drive. Besides, it still needs some work, and I don't think it could pass a European type inspection without being completely pulled apart and rebuilt. Now, if you've got someone over there who wants to get rid of a 1951-53 Mercedes 220 sedan in fairly original driveable shape we can come to an arrangement...
Jan... STILL LOOKING?? I mentioned to you my 65 GS, However, I just received pix of this 58 BUICK SPECIAL CONVERTIBLE from the owners wife, (her hubby, a very good friend of mine, passed away in February) I've never seen this car as its been tucked away in their NC home for a hunnert years.... (well, not quite, but a LONG time nevertheless) Anyway, I'll tell you its not going to be cheap, because it IS original, but it just may spike an interest from some of your buddies across the big pond!
