Looking for a new hood blanket.

Seems some one is making repros for many different models and brands of cars. I sure am not finding them in my search for a hood blanket for a 1985 LaSabre.

Any one know of a sourse?

The insulation under the hood held in place with plastic buttons.

Ah, hood insulation! I did a little online searching and came up empty. It's not a popular model/year Buick, so I'd be surprised if there's a repro available. Might want to investigate the comparable Chevy/Olds cars of same year, may be able to make something work.

 

It was still available in a bulk, cut to fit item for multiple fits. Will try to remember to look in file. Try a body shop that may have an older crash guide book.

 

Try oldbuickparts.com & get the one for for 78 electra. May have to trim the edges but it will work. Make sure you order new buttons to hold the blanket in.
