You know what though, that car probably would have seen the crusher in the sky a long time ago had it not been for that guy saving it and turning it into a "custom car" (and I use that term lightly). I'm not defending this guy or lowriders but at least someone takes care of it and puts some work into it. Those late '70s land yachts aren't exactly desirable; I guess someone has to like them. Remember, he could have found a GSX in a garage somewhere and just as easily put 13" wire wheels on it. At least he picked a car most of us won't miss anyway.

looks like someone wants it but only will pay 500. I will give the guy 100 for it than yank all the Fu(*#ED Up low rider crap off.

I'd pay 500$ for it.. Least I'd have a way of making some local frineds in LA.. :Dou:

Some of you gotta admit tho, seeing one pop up-n-down on the highway in traffic is pretty neat.. Takes your mind off the sea of red lights infront of you. :spank:

Those are some really messed up comments Chris.I LOVE mine , now there is nothing wrong with Buick performance cars but my Buick isnt now or will it ever be a racecar , I have a Mopar to cover that aspect , I wanted an old Luxury car ,this is it . I would also love to buy that car and rip all that low rider **** off of it. I thought it was only the Mopar chatrooms where the full size guys got slammed by the performance car guys :( For some reason I thought Buick guys would be different .

Dan, I didn't mean to step on anybody's toes by that comment. Everybody has their own likes and dislikes. I just know that around here you pretty much can't sell those cars. That was kind of what I was trying to get at in my comment was that there has to be someone out there who likes them (like you) and that is what will keep a few nice examples of those cars around for years to come (like yours). I appologize if I offended you Dan, the gist of my whole idea there was that at least somone was taking care of the car. I was simply making a generalization due to the type of car that it was, and did not mean it to be a personal shot at '77 Buick owners. :Dou:
