43 is the paint code on my car, 71 GS. But i see pictures of 2 71 GSX's that the Limemist is a much more brilliant metalic green. Or it seems.

Yes that is the color of my car, and these are the 2 GSX's i was refering to. I love the color they appear to be, much more than what it actually is. I thought that might have been a special color for GSX only... Guess not.

There is a very brilliant metallic green on new Jeeps, very similar to what these two appear. Maybe ill paint my car that color.
    Thank you

do you mean this green color, named "mojito!" on the jeep?

Thats the one, i love that color. It would look killer with GSX stripes and the blacked out hood. IMO

Looks like the Silver Fern (41) car board member @alain restored - Interesting how much different the 2nd pic looks - Looks more like Willowmist Green (42). Top pic is much closer to reality. To me, in the chart below neither Willowmist nor Lime Green look right but screens can make a big difference too. Definitely can't trust colors on a computer but of course with editing capabilities these days can't trust any pics or video anymore.

The pics above show one with a white interior. That one belongs to someone who lives in Ct. & IF I remember correctly it came out of Canada & is still wearing it's original paint.
The 2nd. one with black interior is ALSO out of Ct. His dad bought the car when it was 6 months old. It's had a meticulous nut & bolt body off restoration by one of the top notch GS restorers in the country & I can vouch that he WON'T paint a car the WRONG color.
    They are both OUTSTANDING cars.

My car is the same color code and it always look a slightly different color from picture to

Though mine is a slight shade different from orginal......they tried to match it but my inside trunk had never been repeated so I know its slightly off

The bottom (w/editing undone) pic of the GSX's on my screen looks about right for Lime Mist Green. As noted, Nick Serwo (it's no secret) painted the one with the black top and his stuff is pretty spot on.

Funny, I recently picked up a 72 Skylark that is Lime mist. Years ago someone did a really poor GSX paint scheme on it. I saw the same two GSX's in the pictures posted, and knew they were a 'brighter' green, but I too liked the color. I also found the Jeep Mojito green to be a perfect candidate. The black and red lettering on the hood is a great indication of what the GSX stripes will look like on the green. Well, good luck with your project! I guess I wont have the only one on the block if you decide to go with the same paint scheme.

Yes thats my car, its had one repaint and i can see a more brilliant original Limemist where this paint chipped. Im sure this job faded alot or they mixed the color wrong.
But yes i love the Mojito green on the Jeeps. That color with the blacked out hood and GSX stripes will look killer i think. How about those green Oldsmobile wheels!
I have Buick ralleys on it now.
