I used to own a 71 Lime Mist GS 350 about 5 years ago, so I thought I better check it out. Yep, same one! This guys says he drove he down from Seattle, which sounds right, I remember seeing it on Ebay a while ago, can't remember how much it sold for though. Not a bad car, pretty straight and rust free on the panels. Did have under hood rust and more under dash rust than normal. O bought it from the original owner's nephew with about 90k on it then. I am sure the paint looks better in the picture than it is, as it was pretty faded, although I think it was original. I think it has been buffed up pretty good, but when you get up close you can see the paint is pretty thin. Wouldn't know anything about the engine problems, didn't experience those when I had it. But I only had for 6 months or so. If I recall it also had the rear seat seat belt holders, which I haven't seen on many cars. Are they rare? Thanks for bringing back the memories Brett! Chris
It's a small world Chris, next time I will sell a car to someone from Jupiter. But then again, it might show up on eBay.ju.milkyway....
Erik, LOL! It is a small world indeed. I never would have thought that I would sell car to a guy in Belgium, and then he would take it to a big show in Amsterdam, and that you would send me links to pictures, and that it would be in them! The world of cars never ceases to amaze me. Chris
Our car has the clips in the back seat, never seen another car buick or not with them, Thats the original color of ours, we also have a 3:08 posi rear, and the split bench, we have our original spare too! is this a real gs?
