Is there a light weight factory appearing steel wheel that the pure stock and fast racers are using?

"Light weight" and "steel" are mutually exclusive.

Don't know if it would pass, but some some people are painting draglites and using hubcap adapters. They look "stock" and most observers wouldn't notice.

Possibly in FAST, but I highly doubt it in pure stock.

does acid dipping leave tell-tale finish on metal surfaces? I can't believe I'm asking in this context because it seems like such a risk and afety issue. That said, there were standard issue steel wheels and then a 'heavy duty wheel' option which would appear to mean thicker steel wheels.
