    I like my 64 Wildcat in dark blue metallic. It was originally tan and would not have caught my eye.
    IMO the right color will raise the value.

    I had a 69 Wildcat in dark olive green; - it wasn't terrible, but when I painted it white it sure stood out. It had the black buckets and door panels out of a 70 Cat too, it was sharp! The lines of those cars just suit white, and it's been said that the only cars that look good in white are those that are well proportioned and have great lines.
    IMHO keep it white, or go with a light sky blue metallic, - a la 65 Corvette.
