I'm curious to know how many '67 GS 400 owners we have on this board. Post up if you have one and include a photo if you can. Here's mine.......
Not as nice as yours but working on it. It is old school from the scoop and stance to the wheels, all form the early 80's.
Here's a shot of my engine. I just got the overheating issue solved with a new fan clutch! Life is good! And there are a couple of YouTube video links below too. Dave
Here is my 67GS at Valley Forge Park. Just picked her up this past March. She is my work in process. Hope to get her looking as nice as yours Nick.
Awesome! Keep 'em coming! Here are a couple more shots of mine. After the engine rebuild, I changed out the 2 1/4" exhaust for a 2 1/2" TA Performance exhast and I am so glad I did! I also lifted the rear about 1". The car is running really well right now. Dave
Here's mine. Currently in the process of restoration. Its a factory 4 speed, a/c car, disc brakes, tilt wheel, bench, (now buckets)P/s,PDB,PW. The second pic is the original color combo, and where I am going back to.
I have a 67 post car with PW, AC, front disk brake's, 3.36 Posi and a whole lot of rust so its a major work in progress. Its not very photogenic at the moment but some day I hope to have it together. I would like to add Bucket seats and center console some day
Hi Tom, I see you are close to me. Maybe I will run into you one of these days at a local show. Good luck on the restoration. Sounds like a sweet 67GS.
#10 checking in! I had a '67 Skylark for 26 years, but always coveted a GS. This one was for sale for 6 months, and I finally decided "it can't hurt to just go look, right"? You know the rest of the story.... Anyway, original untouched motor, PB, PS, AC, electric bench. All original, everything works. I just put 2.5" Pypes X-pipe with electric cutouts on....worth every penny. Loving every minute of it!
Thanks Flipper! That's my daily driver. I'm upgrading the brakes and suspension this weekend. Not easy stopping with drum brakes! Andy
