I need a little info and this is a good place to start. Have a 87 LeSabre wagon that's had the lock punched out on the passenger side door. I'd like to find out what other doors might interchange with mine. One of the local junkyards has a mid eighties Electra wagon and several 80 through 84 GM wagons, I'm just curious if anyone knows what will fit or might have a Hollanders manuel and could look it up for me. Thanks !
I have no idea but wouldn't be surprised if the front doors in that era wouldn't interchange between the wagons and the four door sedans.
The rear doors are different on the wagons. 1980 - 1990 front doors on cars like the Caprice Wagon, Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser and Pontiac Safari (full size separate model) are the same as on the 4 drs sedans.
Yea you'd think when they design the wagon varient of a given car they'd keep it the same as the sedans as far back from the front as possible to cut design costs. Do you know anything about the Electra wagon door fitting, I know where one is, even the right color??
