    And...

My Grandpa's tealmist grey Lesabre Custom, which during this photo (spring, 1980) belonged to my parents, and later belowed to my brother and I. Unfortunate prom tux optional.

    Wish I still had it!

Left rear quarter wiped out by a drunk driver, while my brother was driving (he wasn't hurt) circa 1983. Subsequently sold to my Grandpa's handyman friend as a work car for $200 Last seen in 1984.

It was getting rusty in the doglegs at that point anyway. At the time I didn't think it was anything special, but of course now I know differently. Interior (custom trim, a sort-of royal blue) was absolutely like new.

    Tealmist '71's are NEVER seen!

I commented to a Centurion friend the other day that Tealmist is one of those beautiful and unique '71 colors that we never see at any of the shows. In fact, I recall only seeing the color once, and that was on a '71 Electra 225.

Other '71 LeSabre/Centurion colors that were not commonly seen but are very nice include Twilight Turquoise, Rosewood, Nocturne Blue, and Verdemist Green. Where are the cars today that were originally finished in those colors?

If you look through all the '71's that Adam has documented thus far in the registry, you will see one each convertible in Twilight Turquoise and Verdemist Green.
